About Basingstoke is a radio station broadcasting to Basingstoke and the surrounding areas including Hook, Odiham, Overton, Hartley Wintney and the many other villages.
Unlike many radio stations in the Basingstoke area, we don’t play music. Our radio platform features five main shows that are broadcast on the hour, every hour on specific days:
- Monday – Community
- Tuesday – Business
- Wednesday – Wellbeing
- Thursday – Home & Family
- Friday – Leisure
At the weekends, there are repeats of these hours, together with some special programmes. All of our radio shows are also available on demand on our website and on major podcast apps.
From 4th May 2026, the radio station is available online via a quality web stream and Alexa devices (“Alexa, play About Basingstoke”).
